UBO Studio is part of UBO Agency. A digital design & marketing agency based in Bunschoten-Spakenburg. I did my exam project here and during this period I worked as an content creator, editor and helped around on shoots as a production assistent.

For my project I tried to create brand awareness for the studio. I did this by coming up with new ideas for social media and making and testing prototypes.

When I started working for UBO Studio I was tasked to solve their problem to create more awereness for the studio and their virtual production projects.

I did this by researching the problem, their audience and with these insights I created and tested different prototypes. This resulted in a variaty of online designs that target different groups with different struggles.

For each group i've created a different product. Their main product was a portfolio so that UBO Studio could show their work and process more. This is because all of the target audience didn't know what to expect or what they could do with virtual production.

  • In comparisson to their peers UBO Studio lacked in their pressence on social media. Eventhough they use it, they don't show any of their work neither do they show how they work or what visual production. After getting in contact with a few customers and other studio's we created a behind the scenes video of one of their current projects and decided to analyse the data after we posted it on social media.

    As soon as it got posted it got attention and the audience liked it. We decided to continue with this trend and to keep their current projects visable and create visability to their (upcoming) clients.

  • Because the main projects of UBO Studio are made with virtual production they needed to convience people to use this technique for their company video.

    In combination with the inhouse marketeers of UBO Agency, who provide most project towards the study, they needed some information about virtual production and they could sell it towards new clients and generate more projects for the studio.

    To inform those marketeers I designed a training in video format showing in a presentable way what virtual production is, what it can do and we UBO Studio could incorpate it in company video formats such as corporate video's, events and webinars.

  • Just as the inhouse marketeers of UBO who needed some conviencing it is also the same with extern marketeers. Why would a company want to use a virtual production video if they don't know what they're capable off.

    To attract that audience we came up with the carousel for LinkedIn. This is one of the most used platforms for that audience and we wanted to inform them a easy slideshow what could be done if they started working with UBO Studio.

  • Besides doing research I helped out with multiple projects and had multiple tasks. I did some hands on work on the set when we had clients come in and film, both on location and UBO's own studio.

    I made motion graphics, UI animations and had to edit some video's for social media, clients and inhouse. This was done with a variaty of programs such as After effects and Unreal engine 5.

    And I besides that I have worked on a few creative concepts for some clients. This was done by brainstorming and having meetings with multiple clients & coworkers.
